Residence Inn by Marriott Long Island Islip/Courthouse Complex

The check in went very smooth! The front desk has been very friendly and welcoming! Sabrina at the front desk made sure we were having a wonderful stay! It smells fresh and clean in the halls. The room was very clean. I love the amenities, specifically the gym and outdoor patio area with the fire place. It’s my first time here and I will definitely recommend and come back for future stays! The rooms are very spacious for families. They also have a basketball court provided with a ball at the front desk of the kiddies get bored.

I say 4 stars only because there's always room for improvement. Good place for home away from home environment. The price per night is tricky, trying to find reasonable rates.

Easy check in and room was spacious. The breakfast was decent but would like more options. Unexpectedly, we did receive daily room service without requesting it. Overall, great location for my trip.

I am big on cleaning and the cleanliness of the room was a 10. We stayed for 2 short nights and didn't use any of the dishes or utensils so can't comment on that but the room was spotless. My only complaint is that the iron was burnt so when I tried to use it on a white shirt, it got messy but luckily I had some shout wipes otherwise it would have been a disaster. My fault for not packing my steamer. I wasnt impressed with the breakfast. The waffles were sugary, I wish they didn't do that because they end up being sweeter than normal. Overall nice friendly staff! Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable and clean, good beds and pillows, great shower. Two complaints: they do not provide enough towels or warm bedding. We had to ask for a third bath towel since our son stayed with us in a suite. We also had to ask for extra blankets. The answer was .. we'll see what we have. They gave us an extra bedspread. So, a little stingy on the linens. My other complaint is that the breakfast buffet ends much too early on the weekends, at 9:30.

We had a great 5 day stay here. Everything went well. The rooms were perfect.

The parking lot is full of massive potholes. The tub has questionable caulk. The name on the TV was not ours. Overall the place is clean. The sheets were clean. The staff is kind and helpful which brought up the overall score. The breakfast was good. The basics are covered and well accomplished, just a little shy over a 5 star review. Note* - There were trucks working on the parking lot during our stay.

My family and I moved from LI 2 years ago and have been back several times to several different hotels. This was the first time I didn't have to worry about cleanliness. It was so so clean! And the breakfast was actually really good!! The only complaint is the heated pool is cold and there was no towels to dry off but everything else was excellent.
